Your Heart's Prayers

All healing modalities, by their very nature, are left brain and linear. As such, they are limited, as to how much potential power, they can muster. Traditional allopathic medicine, is somewhat eclipsed by alternatives, such as acupuncture and various energy therapies. Yes, they can be effective, but they mostly deal with alleviating symptoms, rather than a cure of the causes. Throughout the ages, people have had miraculous, spontaneous remissions from every incurable disease, known to man. What would happen if, one could take a simple practice, and merge it with the power which is the source, of these spontaneous remissions, to make such events more commonplace?

When we look at the commonalities amongst those who have experienced spontaneous remissions, a pattern emerges. They took Responsibility for their Situation, Believed in a Higher Power and were willing to Surrender to it, they also had a Reason to Live, and Gratitude. In essence, they did not run away or go into blame, but rolled up their sleeves to deal with their challenges. "A Course in Miracles" has been the vehicle for many to transcend their difficulties, and in cases where a remission was not to be found, gave them the peace and serenity to accept their fate. While it may not be the path for everyone, we can take some lessons from it, to apply to our own journey. Essentially, it teaches us that we are only subject to that which we hold as true, and that we are entitled and subject to, miracles on the journey of total surrender, to a higher power.

So what would happen if, one were to take the lessons of The Course and couple them with some standard metaphysical energy concepts, an advanced map of the connections between the Psyche, Brain and Body, and merged them with a series of prayers, which took us through a deep clearing and healing experience? In essence, if we made the basis of the whole thing a practice of Surrender? Could we, though our surrender and devotion, access some of the practically endless energy waiting, in a seemingly vacant universe?

The answer to that somewhat rhetorical question is of course, yes. The amount of energy which flows in response to a deep heartfelt prayer can be staggering; the shifts and releases, profound. Since, of course, we are surrendering to God's Will, we don't have control as to who heals and who doesn't, or even what healing looks like. The reality of course is that we never did, except perhaps, in our own minds. In the past, I have watched as I forced a shift, only to have the client undo it, simply because, they weren't ready for that change.

I mention heartfelt in connection to prayer, and that is because the heart is the vehicle, or passage to Divinity, Spirit or the Field, depending upon you preference. It is the glial cells which comprise 60% of the heart, which holds the field, through which communication with the greater Field of Divinity, can be facilitated. The state of Salvation and Lotus Land are the equivalent of Unconditional Love and the predecessor to the State of enlightenment.
